I see what you're asking for. I believe this is how the US Theatre plug-in works. The plug-in isn't designed to do it that way but its something I may look in to.

I believe you mean mouse users. This has been fixed for the next release.

Thanks for pointing it out, it helps when people post bugs - only way to get them fixed Smile

Sorry about that, you're right.

Btw,
I setup a windows task to run the USAandCanada-Zap2It.exe each day so it always has updated listings. It's a fairly long update, so the PAF (patience) was affecting the WAF.

If you have alot of cinemas with the same film the plugin currently looks up the film info each time - this is something I hope to change in a future release.

In the UK, film showings are updated every thursday (for the week ahead). If this is the same/similar in the US then you could reduce the need for updating so often.

Getting a problem with v2.1. Installed latest elements, etc. then installed 2.1 Setup cinema's (cheode2,basemp,thuvue,thuode). Everytime I go into cinema on either PC or MVP I get the error 'Object reference not set to an instance of Object'. Use to have this working a while ago under V1.0 with above cinemas.

I have deleted all .xml files under the plugings>International Cinema Plugin directory, but still the same. Using Basic.MCE2Blue skin with GBPVR 0.99.05.

Any help would be great

1st try with the default Blue skin to rule out skin errors.

2nd reproduce the error and then zip/attach gbpvr.exe.log

I ran the USAandCanada-Zap2It.exe, outside of GBPVR and it seemed to complete ok, but once I access in GBPVR I get all of the cinemas, but all of the films are missing. Is there a parameter I need to give to the exe to get it to work correctly outside of GBPVR? The refresh works fine within GBPVR just not outside.

Also
I think you may be right about limiting the refreshes to once a week. The showtimes go through this Thurs.

Well maybe not quite yet.
If I look on the zap2it page I see showtimes through Thursday. If I look at the showtimes within GBPVR, they typically only go through Tuesday. If it goes further it typically looks like the following:

Wed (2/28):7:00Thu(3/1):7:00

Instead of putting Wed and Thu on different lines.

An example cinema code that does this is AAPPY

Typically the listings stop at Tuesday. AAPPY hsa examples of both.

Can you confirm this as no arguments are passed, it literally just runs the exe. I tried it here with AAPPY as the cinema ID and it works fine.

Relevant logs are the normal GBPVR.exe.log and gbpvr\Plugins\InternationalCinemaListings\USAandCanada_Zap2It.exe.log

This has been fixed for the next release. (most sites use 'Thur', wasnt adding new lines for 'Thu').

Ok chalk it up to sunspots or whatever. I ran it again externally and everything was fine. I'll let you know if I see it happen again.
