Drat, no editing...this one is better. The transparent png didn't work so well.

Good designs, but Logo #1 looks too similar to a local TV station's logo for my liking.

see: http://www.thenewvr.ca/

#1) Athalon XP 3200, WXP SP2, 2Gig RAM, Hauppauge MCE-150
#2) Celeron, @ 2.2 Ghz, Windows 2003 server SP1, 1Gig RAM, 2 x Hauppauge MCE-150s (running 24x7)
#3) PopCorn Hour.. I'm working on that one.

XBMC & 2 Hauppauge Media MVPs connecting to the server.. and a couple Terrabytes of kids shows.

Just stumbled across your poll and i'm impressed with all the efforts. I see that Logo number 3 is in the lead but when I intially saw it, it reminded me of something. See below:

Is it just me or do the two logos look a little too similar, especially the colour split between the silver and turquiose?

I'm not implying that the guy plagiarized his logo, I just think its a coincidence.

I think I prefer either Logos 1 or 6. As some other poster mentioned. Logo 3 is a little old hat if I may say so and 1 & 6 are modern, clean, simple, friendly and fun and definately fulfill the "meedio" look you wanted.

Good luck to all the finalists!

Actually, a band around a cigar a coworker routinely smokes gave me the idea for #3, a silver foil band separating two neutral colors. Here's another, apparently after the fact since a decision has been made:

Yes - maybe sub will do a little storytelling about the design, what it means, the values it represents and when we can buy mugs and T-shirts Wink
