Yes, thanks vik. The plugin adds some nice eye candy to movie browsing.

I have a number of DVD ripped TV Shows on my HTPC, have you considered making a "TV Shows" plugin with similar eye candy?

Right now I'd like to add movies to wiki when I have a chance. I rather do coding, but I think the wiki should be the priority now. Originally movies was something that I started for myself to organize my movies and looks nice, I didn't want to install extra software on my HTPC (i try to keep things on the minimum, and so far GBPVR/NPVR was very solid and reliable, thanks sub). XBMC looks great and hard to match all the features it has, the only reason I don't use it because I built my HTPC in the past as a DVR.
I don't have TV Shows or keep the recorded TV shows, that's why I didn't think of making a TV Shows plugin. But some of the features of Movies plugin I didn't think of doing at the beginning either (such as categories). So you never know... Smile

I think you have done a great job with this plugin, I'm sure I speak for all when I say that we all appreciate your effort. And ofcource when a plugin gets this good, we like to see it even better Big Grin. So if and when you find the time to implement some of the features suggested here we'll all be very glad Smile

Awesome work. In using this and MC, I found a perfect and simple solution to what I wanted to do with my movie collection. This was so easy to get going!! Kudos!!

vik, I don't know if you are around here still, but...

The Movies plugin cold do with a Minor update to cope with the change in Media Companion (and presumably XBMC) which means that posters are now saved as -poster.jpg instead of .tbn format. Had to manually rename the latest movie posters to get the right ones.

Thanks
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

Never Mind - Just found the setting in Media Companion for pre-Frodo format.
