tsreader4 skipping issues

I reverted to 3.9.2 for this reason though I did not have the uncommanded FF, only slow and inaccurate skips. The Use Legacy TSReader did not solve the problem; 3.9.2 does. Fortunately I don't need any of the improvements/features in the 4.x.x series. BTW, ignore the signature.

I did an experiment. I installed the k-lite basic codec pack and setup and switched over all my codecs to LAV Filters and tsreader4 works great. Before that all I had installed was the Microsoft DTV-DVD decoders from Windows 10 DVD player. Perhaps tsreader4 doesn’t doesn’t like those...

The Microsoft decoders should be fine - I often use them. That said, my MPEG2 channels are only SD with MPEG1 audio, where as yours are mixture of SD and HD, with AC3 audio, so lots of differences that could account for you see problems when I don't.

I know its an old post, but I did finally fix the issue. I turned off the hardware acceleration in the lav video filters and it has worked great ever since.
