Thanks! I think I understand now. Macs, from the GUI, always. expands zips into a folder. I mistakenly placed that folder into the NPVR folder. It's been corrected. I think it's installed properly now.  Next step is to figure out the rest of the system.

That's certainly Extras and especially complicated ones like TabloTV can be a bit daunting. Hopeully as you learn you will be able to move the macOS build to a service and things will be much easier. If Live TV plays in a browser you probably have the server set up ok but I would configure the TabloTV to not use AC-3

Okay… I have NextPVRServer running again. I still can't seem to get TabloTV to install! This is what I get when I try:

No that would be be me, not you.  I have to rebuild the addon to match the current API level of NextPVR,  it wouldn't work for anyone.  My gen4 version is compatible with gen2 and 3 so give this a shot.

Nice to be a pioneer.

NextPVRServer with TabloTV is up and running! The next step is to get my IP unlocked by SchedulesDirect so I can get the guide again. Then figure out how to get JelllyFin setup to use it!

Great, glad you stuck with it, you were always closer than you thought. The Tablo devices are great alternatives to the HDHR, especially for web playback, if there were more than a handful of users it would make sense to have native support in NextPVR.

Okay… It seems to be somewhat working. I've got the channels list from the Tablo and I've got the listings from schedulesdirect. But no connections to the Tablo. I checked for the m3u file at http://localhost:8866/service?method=channel.m3u but it's empty.

I. thought perhaps it was because I still had Tablo-for-Plex and Thredfin still running so I killed the Docker scripts for now. That didn't work.

Also the launch agent script doesn't work, but that's a later solve…

Two different problems but without logs there are no problems. Get playback in the browser working first.

Don't trust a browser to tell you an m3u file is valid. With Jellyfish you should be using the add-on anyway.

I fiddled with the settings a bit and just made thing worse. I tried changing the Channel Groups from 'All' to 'Extra Channels' or 'Tablo'. Neither got the channels to play, but now I have every channel repeated a second time. Any channel I try playing gives me a "Device not found" error.

Edit: Automerge fixed the repeating channels…
