I think it is me... I tried switching the USB port, un-installing the Widcomm bluetooth stack and un-installed Konfabulator. I had a number of test recordings work correctly. I still have some problems with the trans-coding. When I start the GBPVR frontend it says it is trying to transcode the AVIs I had finished recording. I have it turned off in the config. Is there something I can set in the config file to stop it from trying to do this?

Sub - I've managed to see where the conversion process is bombing out and will be looking into it as soon as I can. I had to work a full shift after my last post so no play time for me...

I've no idea. When you narrow it down, let me know and I'll fix the problem.

sub Wrote:This reads like you're not talking about the v0.94.12 release which was only released a few hours ago, and the topic of this post. If its not related to v0.94.12, then you should have posted this in the support forum, instead of tacking it on to this thread.

What does this crash say?

Given that you say that the schedule is all there after this crash, then this sounds like you're running something in PostUpdateEpg.bat that is crashing (ie not GB-PVR, but some plugin).
No, no plugins. Yes, the one released a few hours ago (days ago now). It's a debugger prompt box. Let me see if I can get a picture. You'll have to wait while I start that machine. Still there?

Now that I think about it, I believe the epg crash first started when my zapit! subscription expired, back in July.

Still waiting for that to boot. It's a 2000 box, slow boot w2k. NT4 was even longer. ... (yeah, I know, very odd to write that)

I will continue this in later posts since the board sometimes stops responding (my attempted attach is still spinning).

And again, this is the tray app that's bailing. At least, I start the epg update from the tray. It puts the dialog/message box up (can't be moved/minimized/anything, as mentioned before) about (I think) taking a few minutes. Then, when it's done (always updates), it GPFs (or whatever the netfw is doing here).

OK, one more pic, and that's it, I promise.

Can you email one of your XMLTV files to me at support@devnz.com?
