the problem is some artists have different genre albums, like for metallica their early stuff has genre of "metal" (or "heavy metal") and later stuff is more "rock".

anyone try the ripping or burning yet? or did i waste a hell of a lot of time trying to get those right ? (well i ripped a couple of cds, havent burnt any thou...........).

Any idea when the you'll have a beta of mymusic available using the database sorting? I've been waiting for something like this for a long time.

im just trying to perfect the database design, i dont really want to have to change the db after every beta. ill probably have a version out before next week.

is there a possiblity to have more than one variable textstring in one text element in the skin? I'd like to have for example

<DrawText text="@Artist - @Title" loc=....../>

because of the variable length a positioning with two text elements is not possible.

where do you want to show that? if its in the music panel area, you can already use "@ArtistSong" which is "Atrist - Songname".

ok here is screenshot how it looks like at the moment. The problem is the top line where i display artist, song and time. at the moment they are aligned left, centered and right in three seperate text elements, but actually i would like to have artist and title aligned left in one text element and the time right in another one.

yeah use "@ArtistSong" instead, that would show it like
"Fuel - Won't Back Down"
thats what the default i think uses (or maybe i removed that from the blue skin because of size), PM3 uses it anyway.
