It's a MS send home message, and I can't seem to get any data out of it...

Here's what I got from the Gui.log and then the error report. I did put a .config file in there.

It's supposed to create the config file if it doesn't exist. I'll look into it.

Fixed: http://www.epgtools.com/MceEpg2XmlTv/Mce....0.0.1.zip

Source: http://www.epgtools.com/MceEpg2XmlTv/Mce...%20src.zip

This problem only affected Pre-Vista users. Vista users don't need this build.

Hate to say it but the source is fine, but the prg link is bad...

Hi,
When I run the gui the MceEpgDownloader stops working. After that the gui tells me to select a provider but the provider drop down has 0 providers.

I have vista ultimate 64. mc tells me that it is downloading the epg info, but it wont let me view it because mc does not reconize my Twinhan 1027 card.

Please help!

Thanks

Have you gotten your EPG working in Media Center? If not, the downloader will not work. The EPG must be set up and working in Media Center first.

I was afraid that you were going to say that! I was allowed to setup up the guide (select region, enter postal code, select provider) and download it in media center. I just can't view it, because it thinks I don't have a tuner card. I have a wintv pvr 150 that I don't use anymore to setup media center, but media center won't detect the ir dongle and stops the setup wizard. I also tried the manual setup(what little manual setpp they allow!) with no luck either.

I was able to use MceEpg2XmlTv last night and it produced an xml file. I just can't get the GUI working.

Thanks

I suspect that there is an MCE setting preventing you from changing the guide with the downloader. I don't have an IR receiver connected to either of my MCE machines so I'm not sure why that is preventing you from using the guide.

No it does not. And I just rebuilt my machine, so it's not my cache thing...:p

May I suggest taking the spaces out of the files?
