After upgrading, I've lost all sound in GB-PVR, both live-tv and video playback. Sound works as expected if I playback the same files through windows media player.

I'm at a loss as to where to start looking for a solution.

zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll see if I can see anything obvious.

There hasnt really been any changes in areas that can affect this, and I havnt seen any other reports of this problem. What audio decoder are you using?

I found a problem in the tv guide where the time line doesn't highlight recordings in some cases:

The scheduled program runs from 00:00 to 00:25, but the timeline only highlights that there is a scheduled recording when the guide is showing programs from 00:00 to 02:00, it doesn't highlight when it's showing the programs from 23:00 to 01:00.

Also, a minor thing. If you press "Find more" on a program in the TV guide and then press "Back", it sends you to the main menu, wouldn't it make more sense if it send you back to where you were in the tv guide?

As far as I can tell, I'm using the Elecard audio decoder. I also have FFDShow installed (if that makes any difference). The only change that has been done from having a fully functioning system to having a mute system (and I have tried toggling the mute button) is to install the new version over the old.

I tried to install the previous version, but that is obviously not an option.

The included native log includes startup, live-tv and playback of a video file. Hopefully someone will see what the problem is!

Many thanks, Nick

Nothing obvious in the log. All I can really suggest is try a different audio decoder.

Net Radio looks like it's not working anymore. Getting a "failed to connect to radio station" and then this in the log

After that, if I try to do anything else in GBPVR I get an InvalidActiveXStateException.

Just installed the new release. No problems so far.

Top job as usual sub. Love the new functions in the TV guide.

I think I know your secret plan - make the best damned PVR software in the world and wait for some big company like M1cr050ft buy you out for squillions.

Hope it works.

Oops. Right you are. You can get it going again be editing the config.xml and setting
<
UseWindowsMediaPlayerForAudio>false</UseWindowsMediaPlayerForAudio>

I've fixed this for the next release.

This doesnt affect XCard/PVR350/MVP users.

Hm, i have an interesting experience. I am not sure, if it's a bug, or not. I'll try to explain it:

I backuped my last gbpvr folder
Me installed this new version
Me was updating the configuration
I was starting the new version

No Error, no Problem, my Wallpaper, my Fonts, my RSS-Feed... all works wonderful, i think for now.

But here's a problem while navigating with my keyboard! If i go into the TV-Guide and try to go back to the main-menu, the menu's are switching often... like i had "auto-fire" which is pressing often the enter-button.

Could someone else find this out? Or is this a configuration-error of mine?

Ah! I think i found out this "error". It shouldn't be switched too fast! I saw the Task-Image on the right side. If this one is completely changed, i can navigate without problem through the menus.
If i am switching too fast (the task-image wasn't changed at this point), the menus jumps forward and backward.
Could this be fixed in the next version? Faster painting of the Task-Image? (I am using an AMD64 3.500+ with 2 GB RAM!!!) or changing of the steering interrupts?
