just want to add i am another user with no issues with the upgrade. i already had .net 2.0 installed (along with 1.1) for other programs that i use. so i just upgraded gbpvr, and it went without a hitch. using a modified ContourHC skin, and it works great.

I am up and running on my test machine. It all works great. I am running 2005 MCE on this box. I love the Picture feature. I had a semi crash when I went to config. It "developed a problem". I looked at the details on the "do you want to send this to Microsoft" screen and it showed it was the old Pictures plugin that I used to use. I deleted it from the directory and all is well. Thanks for the great work! Now on to update the main machine.

Sub,

97.7 is working fine for me except for the comskip that was described earlier. I tried your comskip patch and now GBPVR doesn't auto start any servers. I can get it to run by starting manually.

I asked this before but I'm trying it again:
When I close GBPVR I get this error:

anybody any idea what is causing this.
MVP is working fine.

I've just checked this now on two machines here, and I'm not having this problem. In fact when you set it to auto start servers, it runs exactly the same thing as when you start it manually.

Can you set to auto run servers again, double check it's not working, then zip and attach your logs? Hopefully they'll contain some clues why this is happening for you.

HtV, what files do you have in your 'C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Plugins' directory?

I can add to my previous post that Musiclibrary2 doesn't show up in the menu. But I guess that is a psycik problem.

I know the DboxRecorder plugin will definitely need to be upgraded before it'll work with v0.97.7 (see brief comments here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16130).

It might be worth temporarily moving all the DLLs out of the plugins directory.

Yes. You should probably post that question in the 'plugin and skin support forum'.
