I've had that pink screen thing before with various drivers. I don't think I've had for quite a while now.... just a mo while I check current driver version... 2.0.43.24108 The only time I get timestamp issues is if I am doing something else with heavy disk access when recording.

Can you check the WIndows event log and see what problme it is reporting.

Hi All,

I'm trying to install GBPVR for the first time and need some help.

I keep having a problem with my capture source disappearing - it's a Tevion DVB-T 100. In the config app I've updated the EPG using XMLTV and I can manage to scan and map the channels to the EPG but when I start GBPVR and try to watch live TV I get an error stating no capture sources are defined. When I load the config app again the capture sources tab is blank.

I'm not sure but I think this may be the same issue DETurner and stevencf were experiencing?

I've attached my logs (hope these are the right ones!)

What files do you have in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins? I'd try removing the SoftwareRecoder.dll or whatever its name is. I see this one seems to be cause problems in your log.

Thanks Sub. New version up and running and no probs so far.

My procedure for installing updates is;-

1. Disable wireless internet connection.

2. Create a restore point (just in case!)

3. Shut down Antivirus and firewall software.

4. Close the GB-PVR tray icon.

5. Shut down the GBPVRRecordingService from the task manager (ctrl-alt-del)

6. Shut down the WinTV Remote controller tray icon (remote for Nova-T USB2)

7. Then backup entire \Program Files\Devnz folder to a zip file and \Windows\IRREmote.ini (remotecontrol config file)

8. Then install update, configure GB-PVR, restart PC, check & restore irremote.ini if necessary, and turn on Wireless connection.

So far this sequence has worked well for me and I thought it might help someone else.

Did you copy an old version of gbpvr.mdb onto this current release? It looks like you have since one of the new database fields is missing.

Nope. But I was upgrading from 96.12...

I did try removing GBPVR and coping my old gb directory back and then doing an install again... still no luck

I installed 97.13 yesterday and watched a couple of programs this morning just fine. I had a friend come over and I was going to show him GBPVR, but it kept freezing when I tried to start watching any program. Live TV works fine. The logs state that it cant find some firmware version for my audio??? Additionally, I expected to be able to hit "resume" on the show, and the logs stated to show resume, but resume did not appear on the screen.

I have the latest weather, advanced web and EPG extra plugins installed. I've attached the logs. I've never seen this in any previous version.
