Universal Remote suggetsions?

Hi,

The System Requirements for the MS remote (from Microsoft web site) state Win XP Media Center Edition. Looking at the above posts most of you using this remote appear to just be running plain XP.

Please could someone confirm that the MS remote will work fine with plain XP & GBPVR.

I can confirm it works with XP Pro and GBPVR. There is an option for MS remote in the config.

However, if you run XP Home the drivers may not be installed. They're easily obtainable...search the forum and/or wiki. Once they're installed the remote will work just fine.

MCE is mostly just XP with some add-ons.
