It doesn't even show in plugins list on config. I do have music library but I don't think that is the same. Any help would be great. Sorry for such basic questions but I am just getting started.

Can you take a listing of your plugins directory and subdirectories and post that to me.

Also check if you have a double up of dlls (Specifically the musiclibrarycommon.dll) - this should only appear in either the Plugins\Common directory or the Plugin\MusicLibrary3 directory - not twice.

I have deleted musiclibrary 3 completely. How can i proceed now from scratch. I have to admit this process is overwhelming. I have no knowledge of where thee things need to go so it is hard to troubleshoot.

I than you for helping me.

ok, so you've deleted from scratch. Verify that in gbpvr\plugins\common that MusicLibraryCommon.dll is not present, and interfaces.dll is not present, and that gbpvr\plugins\MusicLibrary3 directory is not present and gbpvr\plugins\MusicLibrary2 is not present.

Extract the zip file to somewhere on your pc, a temp directory somewhere.

You should see extracted:
Plugins
Keymappings
Skin2

Directories correct? Take those 3 directories and copy them to the gbpvr directory. They contain all the subdirectories they require.

The above files were not present. I extracted zip file and it made a file music library 3 which contained the above listed files and one additional "skin". I copied the music library 3 file to gbpvr directory. Still no sign of ML 3 in config.

Their are already plugins, keymapping, and skin folders in GBPVR. Do I overwrite the others?

Ok I just downloaded from http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugi...3-BETA.zip (off the ML3 beta page).

I extracted (using winzip) to D:\temp\MusicLibrary3-BETA (since that's how winzip works). Inside that was a musicLibrary3 directory. Inside that was the 4 folders I was expecting.

So in my case I navigate to D:\temp\MusicLibrary3-BETA\MusicLibrary3 directory and copy the CONTENTS of that to the gbpvr directory, overwriting the ones that are there.

I will try that again. The only difference was I d/'d to my desktop then copied to GBPVR.

I also notice another GBPVR folder within my main GBPVR folder. Inside this one is files from external recorder which i downloaded the other day. Is this a problem?

I will again try to do as you instructed.

I got it in the config page but now I am having problems getting program working. I placed all of my music in c://music and directed the database to this location. When I go into PVRX2 in musiclibrary 3 their is nothing showing.

What do I need to do differently to get this going?

Thanks,

Mike
