Does this mean we need to update mvpmcx2 as well as the lircd file? For me the repeat for the arrow keys work (haven't tried the volume keys yet) but the channel keys now do nothing in recordings & TV guide.

Roger that mission control!

Although both your posts were a bit vague (did I say a "bit vague"!!) on what we "dummies" needed to do to get it working.....not knowing where to download the new version of mvpmcx2 I used the installer & learned I had to delete the old mvmpmx2.zip out of the mvpmc directory before the installer would download the new version...all good fun & games & all working for me now...Thank you so much for this...it is so much nicer to have the MVP remote working so well with my NMT it I feel like Christmas has come early this year Big Grin

I think you would have had to delete mvpmcx2l.7z to use NMTInstall but in any case this update process should be the same as every other mvpmc.zip, mvpmcx2.zip and mvpmcx2l.7z minor update I have done so far just replace the binary in the mvpmc share. It's more convoluted because of this "unsupported" lircd.7z but I think am finished with it now so things should get back to normal now.

Thanks guys, I will put this to rest and upload the source too so others can maintain it now. Jaggy post one showed the # key notes, there are a couple of other guys more relevant to using it with the NMT.
