I always thought pausing then skipping in NPVR just locked up the playing, I never waited long enough to see that it was just a long delay.

I applied the patch in this thread and this thread and it certainly fixed the problem, I can now pause-skip-resume without undue delay, unfortunately I have had to remove this patch due to the following issue...

While playing a recording, pause followed by resume always resumes from the point I started playing, not the point I paused.
Pause-skip-resume works but a later pause-resume, resumes from the point I skipped to, likewise, skipping while playing followed by a later pause-resume, always resumes from the point I skipped to.

If playing a recording that is still in progress, pause-resume or pause-skip-resume always resumes from the beginning of the recording.

Am I the only one seeing this issue?

No you are not the only one seeing that behaviour with that patch, I mentioned it in message 67 of this thread.

I've been experiencing similar problems as smiffypr and skinny. Sub indicated this is a different problem than the original poster. Should we be starting a new thread?

This problem only started recently. The only change i made was to apply cumulative patch R2. I've attached the log showing the problem.

Skipping works fine until I hit pause. After I restart the file and attempt to skip, it returns me to point in the video where I had previously paused it.
