Agreed breaking the "Prime Directive" skews the results. Also you do realize based on my experience, just by mentioning that you have not had a problem for days, pretty much jinxed you into having one soon.

OK thanks. Perhaps it's like quantum reality - as soon as you try to observe it, it changes its behaviour.

I'll send through logs when it happens again (assuming it's going to). I just didn't want you to think I wasn't trying it out.

Sorry I haven't got back to you.

No, I haven't had any problems that I can reproduce since I installed the update. I get the occasional 'glitch' when skipping - the playback pretty much stays in the same place but I think that's when I skip several times too quickly. We (well, my wife) had one instance with a drop back to the Recordings screen and then I realised she was watching an in-progress recording and was trying to skip past the 'end' of what had been recorded so far. Other than that, no problems of the sort I was seeing before.

On the one hand a good thing (for me) but it doesn't explain why the update fixed things for me when the problem Chris was seeing didn't appear to be the same as mine.

Good to hear. There may have been others small improvements or changes in the update.
