What dongle are you using dongle.bin or gbmvp.bin?

Hi sub,
My mpv rebooted just after I posted the reply to tipstir.
Luckily I had the logs set to debug. I’m using an old skin, and a dongle dated 6/2/05, but here are the logs.

ok, nothing has changed which would affect this. Yes, I know you wont believe me...

I just sounds like whatever post processing software you're using isnt doing its job correctly.

Quote:But even if the TV isn't sending real 5.1..., i'll try your setting and look if this works.
I doubt it'll help you. It'll probably just make channel changing slower.

You forgot to attach them.

Thats odd. I see them now also. I might have caught it mid way through the forum software creating the post.

Anywho.... the logs show the VA panel having some problem. I suggest you try disabling this plugin and see if the problem goes away.

Thanks sub, I'll try disabling it.
Overall my experience with the new version has been very good!

Its a bit vague and I can't see anything obvious in the logs. It appears everytime I press stop (on my MVP) while watching a video. It happens with transcode videos and MPEGs.

Thanks.

I have attached my logs. I can see the error occuring in the
GBPVR.exe.log but the events leading up to it and just after make no sense to me  It occurs right at the end of the log file as I just stopped a video and then turned off the MVP. Thanks for your help Sub.

Hm, nope. No success. I am only wondering. 0.96.8 works fine..., 0.96.12 isn't working @ 5.1 for me. I'll leave here and go to Support-Forum. It looks like it's nothing for the Announcement thread.

This is a well known bug with the MyPictures plugin. Try disabling it.

That's the weird thing, I don't have it enabled! I just double checked in the config app and My Pictures is definitely unchecked. It doesn't appear on the main menu of GB-PVR when I boot up my MVP either. I tried enabling the My Pictures plugin in config, saving and then disabling it again, in case it was 'stuck' on but its still the same. Isn't that a bit strange?
