I thought it would be fun to share some google earth coordinates, to see where GB-PVR users really live.
I'm the one at:
51°38'56.66"N
5°57'12.39"E

photo's are added (with panoramio)
but not visible yet.

Would be an challence though, floating in a barrel, trying to get a stable GB-PVR Big Grin

When I clicked on your link it showed a picture of Niagara Falls. Now it's showing a picture of Bejiing.

Aha, now I understand, the link is from panoramio, it's a kind of flickr photo service but the diffrence is you can add coordinates to the photo and after a week or two a blue circle shows up in google earth, when you click it it shows the photo from that location. (f.i a house, mountain, road) it's not meant for a picture of your pet playing on the lawn.

So when you open google earth and copy paste 51°38'56.66"N, 5°57'12.39"E in the location bar, it will fly to my house. As I've said; photo's won't show up yet

I'm not sure about the method (baking/frying etc.) but here's a list of ingredients from a packet I bought earlier...

Pork Rind (94%), Seasoning, Salt, Flavour Modifier (monosodium glutamate), Hydrolised Vegetable Protein, Autolysed Yeast Protein, Dextrose, Rusk. All wholsome stuff

Not the best scratchings I've had though - my local butcher used to make his own. Unfortunately the big supermarkets put him and all the other independent butchers in the area out of business.

Cheers,
Brian

Found that if I boiled some pig skin (with fat attached) in salt & a little sugar for 20 mins, then dried them off and deep fryed them - it was about right. Salting after, however, is another matter.

Good to see that they are using MSG!

Very interesting thread!

Who the heck uses GBPVR in New Zealand? Sheesh! (haha)

As for what people in North American think about Spain, most of them think it's either south of Oklahoma (ie, Texas) or the southern half of Florida.

Me, personally? I think of Spain as the place where I'm going to go live when I get completely fed up with Florida and the USA in general. We're going to visit Spain this Summer, along with Italy and France. We're starting in Spain, and I have the funny feeling that I will be refusing to get back on the boat to go to France and Italy. Well, being Catholic, I have to go see the Vatican, but then I'm going to dress in my best pirate costume and force the captain to go directly and immediately back to Spain. Arrrrrrrr, matey! Apparently there are GBPVR users in Spain, so now I'm definitely moving there...that was my final requirement!
Chris
GBPVR system info intentionally left blank because I'm personally
insulted that you can't remember it from previous signatures.

Then party at night dress in all black wearing your silver jewerly in South Beach, Miami dancing to the latin beat of the music drums.. Oh what a life I had now it's all gone... Sad

Ok, I'll bite, what happened?
