You should give the user the feature to backup different skin choices to save and restore. I've done that in MediaChanger 5.

Cannot use a different image for Main menu vs. plugins.
I defined it explicitly in the baseskin.xml file and the menu file. The one defined in the menu skin file displayed for all plugins.

Here is what I hacked together for the New UI only. I still need to do the TV guide and Recordings screen. I have started on the Legacy version as well, but need about a week to wrap it all up.
I am toying around with a blue "Playstation3" type background in this version. I need to select buttons and selectors to finish that theme. This is just a test build, kind of a proof of concept. Never mind the name of the zip file, I am just reusing an abandoned zip file name on the wiki. The Contents should be a manually installed folder called Community3 http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/uploads/Skin/Com...-Patch.zip

Ooh, ooh its 7am and I'm all excited. Editing the SKinPlugin config file to suit the new image names and textstyles now...
Got theme browsing working last nite. Just need to create a new Windows form based 'applyer' exe and improve the plugin UI.

What is backgroundmask used for and will this be a editable skin item?
Where are Icon_Play.png and the other similar icons used? Will they also be editable skin items?
