I'm pretty sure they are using the same listing service but the data is stored differently. I haven't bothered to look into it. There are now more than enough methods for US/Canada EPG as far as I'm concerned. I'll let one of those developers do it (like the mc2xml dev). It's simply not worth the effort for me with SD being $15/year.

Sd is $20 a year, but yeah - it's hardly worth the effort. I have an SD membership and will continue it, I was just playing to see what else was out there . . . I'm trying most of the plugins and stuff.

I'm guessing it can be found somewhere in Microsoft site, anyone knows?

You're right, it would be dealt with on the Microsoft site somewhere.

I'm guessing that if some lived in a place where MCE listings were available, they'd know their own postal codes. It will be during the MCE setup.

Of course many of us are not using MCE anymore, so that doesn't anser your question.

Maybe goto a localized MCE page, like Microsoft UK etc.

BTW, there will not be any listings for Australia, because when the government/TV channels decided that listings information were proprietary or at least copyrightable, Microsoft abided by those rulings, by not providing listings data for Australia in their MCE. Now that it's OK, MS still has no plans to release that info, like with a patch or something...

I've been "playing" with this today and it is pretty easy to configure and downloads quickly. I have it set to selective channels for my cable operator. Looking at the xml file with a text editor looks good.

When I try to open TV Guide, GBPVR locks up. Nothing is displayed on the TV guide page. It does briefly flash the hours across the top and then the page goes blank. GBPVR does not respond. After a while it returns to the opening menu page.

I am using the current version of GBPVR (1.3.7), Vista Home Premium OS.
Any ideas of what to try?

Guys, there hasn't been any new data in my downloads for several days now. I usually have 13 days of data. At this time I'm down to 10.

I've seen this happen once before. So I'm not too worried - yet.

I was more intertested in this log for your report above of GB-PVR locking up when you viewed the TV Guide. I take it this problem isnt shown in these logs?

I just recreated the problem and attached only two logs that both show errors.
