I would love to see some sort of integration with Audioscrobbler for music playback.
Audioscrobbler is a plugin for winamp, itunes, foobar2000, wmp, etc that logs all your played tracks to an online database and can provide recommendations based on your listening history. Heres my stats page - http://www.audioscrobbler.com/user/phuturetech
The protocol thats used seems pretty straightforward (well at least to me, but what do I know ) - heres the description from the audioscrobbler site http://www.audioscrobbler.com/development/protocol.php
Another thing I would love is more complete net radio support - a lot of the stations I listen to are Real Player (especially the BBC) or WMP. Currently I use a plugin for the old MYHTPC software that uses Winamp to play the files back. Winamp then uses plugin called Tara to play back the Real files (with the help of Real Alternative or Real Player).
More info on Tara here - http://www.musiclivesonline.com/software/watara.html
Cheers,
Scott
