I wish that you could clear and reset with a complete new epg

so that if there is a change in the lineup that occured after you have downloaded that epg you could have it redownload all the epg data

Your wish has already been granted. In the GBPVR config app go to the "Capture Sources" tab and check the "Complete EPG Reload" check box.
