Attached is an example weather panel plugin. While writing it I decided to add a few new methods to the commongbpvrutilties.dll to make the panel easier to create, so you will need to install the updated commongbpvrutilties.dll to use the panel.

Thanks again Jeff. I'll check it out this evening.

Jeff, this is very close to what I'm trying to do. However, when I get the text, it is already preformatted. For example, right now I'm getting "Current: Fair 69F". I have to manipulate this entire line. What I would like to be able to do is to manipulate each 'element'. I'd like to be able to make the temperature large with the condition (fair) smaller. Use different colors for each, etc, etc.
You've given me the push that I've asked for. Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to have to learn C# and try to start dissecting code to try and pull just the elements I need.

Here is an update that, I think, does what you are looking for.

Awesome. It is exactly what I am trying to accomplish. I am having one problem, however. I'm not seeing the city being displayed. Not sure if it's something in my settings. The city does appear when I look at the weather within the gbpvr module.
Thanks for your help!

Hello Dinki
Your work is looking good. I havent digged into panels. Good that you are doing that. It is somthing that is missing. I saw your question earlier about variables. I will document variables and stuff when I stumble upon it....or remember it, in this tread. http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=15760
