Why am I addicted to this site and program?
Why do I check every five minutes for a new post?
Why do I read every new post?
Why does my wife stare at me and say "are you ever going to get off that thing?"

(I have a older wireless laptop as a "dev" computer and web browser.)

Why do I only have one tuner card?
Why is this the most helpful and friendliest forum I have ever been a part of?
Why do I check the Wiki several times a day for new updates?
Why does new hardware purchases have to go thru the "Purchasing department"?
Why is the jet engine in the corner of the room so loud?
Why?
Why?
Why do birds sing..........

Curse you sub. Big Grin

Praise God that I'm not alone! I think we should start a new 12-step forum
If you want to know why nPVR is the bomb, ask my wife!

LOL Smile

I know the signs. You are addicted.
I have decided to cut down on the skinning and do other things.
But I couldn't help myself the other day when I found the undocumented tag
CompositeImage "Cutaway" in Main Menu XML, that Reven uses in the PM3 skin.
I just had to go on with my version of PM3 ThemePack.
But I'm promising myself that I gonna do other things now, when spring has come and the birds are singing and the girls are looking good. (divorced)
I'm gonna care more about my car and enjoying beer and girls.
Best Regards
MixMan

Luckily I've got it all set up so that when some of you realise you're hooked and need to take a break...there are new users only just getting addicted and ready to fill the void Big Grin I feel like I'm running a crack house.

My addiction to this site is odd (even for me Big Grin ).

I probably check in here at least 4 times a day and read almost every thread about new plugins, skins etc. However, since my only formal computer training involved punch cards and Fortran, lots of what I read is beyond me but, hopefully I'm learning a little.

Of course, the program has become such a part of our lives that my wife and daughter depend on me to keep all their favorite shows recorded. However, I find the behind the scenes GBpvr stuff so interesting that I never have time to watch everything I've recorded.

Wait until the day you have 11 tuners (7 cards), in 4 different computers, all networked to share all recordings, and view over 4 different TV's in various places throughout the house! Big Grin
Although there's a lot to be said about being your own tech support dept, it's a high maintenance beast (the family, not the systems), and I rarely get to watch the things I do record.
You can never have enough tuners!
