Is there any way that GBPVR could check the aspect ratio of the video file to be played and change it (or add side bars) so that MVP displays it without having to change the ratio on the [widescreen] TV?

Also, is there any way of allowing us to change from PAL to NTSC and back so that we can view files of the other broadcast type without the normal problems of the picture not filling the screen properly? I assume it can't be done automatically but since it can be changed using the MVP software, there must be a way that a "switch" could be added so that we can change it on the fly?

I don't mean to complain though, GBPVR is one of my favourite programs, I love it to bits and admire Sub tremendously for creating it, supporting it, and letting us use it free of charge. Thank you sir!

Sorry, I have no control aspect ratio on the MVP.

Unfortunately this cant be done on the fly. The only way this can be done is by starting the original Hauppauge and setting the video standard there.

OK, thanks Sub. I suspected both might be the case but it's always worth asking Smile
