im using "GB-PVR Media Experience" which isnt listed, since well im still making it , its like Dell Media Experience/Xbox Media Experience, just a port, the default skin for "My videos" shows it off, im only going to bother skinning the plugins i use, since its a pain to make the task image (well googling the image search and finding the right image, that can well take hours and hours and hours). not sure if ill release it, well i dont think sub wud want to host it, xbmc didnt wont to host it since it uses copyrighted images from dell . which i only just found out a few minutes ago, hehe. oh well.

hehe anyone recognise this:

my music is just "Music Albums" renamed with language.xml (quite a handy thing, sub did there), my pic is another plugin im working on (my tv = submenu).

ill release it, i just dont think sub wud want to host it, and ive only skinned a few plugins, only plaining on skinning "my vids" "my pics" "music albums (not very skinnable at the moment thou)" "tv guide" "search" "recordings" "weather (only cause theres already a nice task image)" "shutdown" and maybe an email one (theres none i really like yet thou, i just want a simple one that sends and recieves email, and is skinnable or looks like the mediaportal one).

Where can one find all the skins listed in this poll. I'ld love to try some new skins but dont know where to find them. Also the skin pictures earlier in the post looks great. Hope that is released soon. -Rob

you can get a few of the skins in the wiki. im just finishing off a few things for the "Media Experience" skin, then ill upload it to the wiki, the only things im going to skin are: "TV Guide" "Recordings" "Search Guide" "Music Albums" "Weather" "My Videos" "My Pictures" "Shut Down (looks ugly thou, png files go wierd sometimes)" (i might do fm radio/net radio) since those are the only really things i use, and its really hard trying to make the task.jpg (also quite a few plugins spit out a "Loading task.png"(or whatever) message box when you first select them (the developer forgot to take out that code, so thats annoying, i want to skin a good email one, but theres none out there (well a pure email, just send and recieve and is skinnable).

Keep in mind Dell legally forced Media Portal to stop using its images (and skin). They actually stopped using the entire skin and created their own.

yeah thats why i was thinking about not releasing the "media experience" skin, just use it for my own private use, its just a nice interface is all, ill look into porting other skins out there with the same type of interface, i just like the "media experience" skin. i got 3 more months off from uni before i have to go back, which i have nothing to do between now and then, so im planning on paying back the gbpvr community by developing a few things in the mean time. since i got now job, a huge student loan, and have absolutely no money to donation to sub (i got $0.43 in the bank (well -$499.57 with $500 overdraft)) so all i can offer is my time. i hope sub will accept this, damn student loan.

the media experience background also doesnt look that great on the pvr 350 (which i got) so may look for a good looking background as my basis for a good skin. i suck at creating images, i can port things, but cant create. im a programming not a graphic artist! on and i decided i dont like the mce skin so im not going to bother with that. (i get sick of skins to quickly).

ill finish porting the media experience skin, advertise a link to it for about 2 weeks then delete the link. so if you want it you will have to get it in that time period, or from someone else.

I'm using reven's media experience, but I'd love to see some of tipstir's latest skill improvements to the TV guide added to this media experience!
