No event message for exiting Live TV??

Sub,
I've got a (rather messy) implementation of my (so named) XGC Plugin to switch between TV-OUT and X-Card out when going to and from Live TV, using Event Notification. I have one major problem: There is no 'event' for exiting live tv and it needs some event to realise it has to switch back again afterwards (otherwise it only changes over when ENTERING live tv).
Is there any other way I can recognise going back to the menu? Are any 'events' raised in any other shape or form?

OK, from the next release a EventTypes.CurrentVideoTrack with empty file name ("&quot will indicate that video is no longer playing and GB-PVR has returned to the menus.

I ain't hurryin' ya! For gods sake this is all free! I just can't wait to be able to have my nice pic of Brighton Pavillion at night in full glory as my backdrop and X-Card quality everywhere else! And then getting going on my visualisations plugin...
I can't remember if I've asked this already or not, and I've searched the forums but I can't find it so apologies if I have... and a reminder that I'm not nagging, just asking!! Will either of the following be addressed in the next release:
1) Being able to watch something whilst it records.
2) Being able to spin through when in pause mode?
