Have .net 2.0 and reinstalled the latest gbpvr .97. I'm at work now, I'll uninstall gbpvr and reinstall it tonight to see if that clears it.

I've just uninstalled and reinstalled gbpvr and have .net 2.0. Still get the error. I guess that I could force .net 2.0 to reregister itself. Any other ideas to why this is not working?

Maybe after uninstalling, rebooting to ensure no residual dll's in memory, then fresh install after boot.

I would say it hasn't been re-compiled for .net2, and may be using one of the methods that sub changed when putting out this release.

And/or it may be accessing the DB directly, which will probably not work as well, especially if you've changed to SQL-Lite.

Need to find sgilani since he holds the source, but he doesn't seem to have posted in a couple of weeks.

Ya, this isn't working, bummer. It looks like it's using SQL-Lite since it has the System.Data.SQLite.dll in the bin directory. Can you think of a work-around that I could do in the config files or old installation that would work in the time being?

Was going to install GBPVR09608.msi but looks like gbpvr.com webserver is locked. Can ping, but no http access.

The web streamer will need to be recompiled to run under .Net 2.0.....that is the main problem.

The GBPVR web server is now running .Net 2.0 and this is still compiled in .Net 1.1.

Just need to wait.......

Well not necessarily, GBPVR09608 is in .net 1.1 right? Just need to get my paws on that msi and wait for the other to get compiled... so, is that older msi available anywhere?

I got 96.12 which works with webstreamer if you want it.

You are both correct...96.08 and 96.12 are both .Net 1.1. 96.12 was the last .Net 1.1 version.

That dosen't forgo the need of this to be recompiled if it is to move on with GBPVR progressions (as well as the Enhanced Web Admin changes and future integration).
