Newbie question

Does the conversion processing built into gb-pvr seem to work? I have set it up to convert to xvid, (although the 'settings' button is greyed out) and all I get is avi files that wont play in gb-pvr or media player. I have XviD-1.1.0-30122005 installed. Tried wmv conversion too but that doesn't seem to make any converted files at all. Am I just missing something obvious or should I take another route by scheduling a batch file manually? Thanks in advance.

My DivX files from the conversion utility seem to work fine. They are a bit large, so I am trying to figure out how to get to the settings, but they play good.

Try DivX?

I have a Divx package installed but it doesn't show up as an option under the dropdown list in gb-pvr. I only get WMV, Xvid, sony psp and video ipod. What do i need installed to get Divx working?
