surround sound

Has anyone had any luck getting surround sound to work through the PCH? It's certainly not a deal breaker, but I do miss having it available for the digital broadcasts.

It's a known issue and there's a few posts on this already. There is no AC3 pass through in native mode because I have no way to test it, I don't have an AVR in my computer room, and it is not enabled by default.

If you need to get AC3 for a specific recording or live tv, you need to launch the PCH player by using the USB Eject key instead of the Enter key to select the file or show from the guide effectively putting you back in PCH mode temporarily.
