Any chance of an 'Apply' settings button in the config program - save having to 'OK' and then restart it again if I'm making a few changes.

I agree with this request.

While the config applet remembers all ones changes (even when switching tabs), having the "apply" button would help with end-user support. [The apply button is, I believe, a standard feature within the MS UI-guidelines.]

I answer this question quite a bit for people to whom I have introduced GBPVR . . .

To be honest, I'm unlikely to ever do this.

fair enough Smile although I've decided a better example of needing it would be when adding/editing a capture source, config has to be closed and opened again before the channel edits show up in the channel tab (i.e. config doesn't remember changes between tabs....) but it's really a minor thing - it seems like you (sub) spend your time wisely enough already keeping us mortals happy...

Hi Sub:

Just curious, is this because it would be relatively difficult to implement (within your existing framework) or because you don't think it is necessary?

Thanks for any insight when you have nothing better to do! :-)

I just dont think there is enough benefit to justify the added hassle of developing this feature.

To that note (buttons in Config) - most screens/dialogs will not close/cancel on pressing <ESC>.

I use a lot of keyboard (in normal apps, not in GBPVR), and find it stange that it doesn't work like this.
* Rogers Analog Cable [Canada]
* Hauppauge WintTV PVR USB2
* IBM Thinkpad T42 / 1GB Mem / Centrino 1.6Ghz / 60GB HD / ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 + VGA/DVI out
* MCE Remote + Keyboard
* Win XP SP2 / GBPVR [Latest version. always]
* Pioneer HDTV via VGA (1360x768)
* MS Remote Keyboard
* Logitech Harmony 880 [via MS Remote Control Reciever]
