I recorded a hockey game tonite and it didn't create a cuttermaran file. I want to run comclean and need that file to cut out the commercials. I was wondering if there is a way to manually create this file. The hockey game I recorded the other night worked fine and did create the cuttermaran file. I am not sure why it didn't create one with tonite's record.

Thanks in advance,
Mike.

I take it you use comskip to produce the file. The easiest way for me is:
make a link to comskip.exe on the desktop, then drag/drop the hockey.mpg on it, comskip will start and produce the file.

Thanks for the info. I did what you said, but still didn't get a cuttermaran file. Here are the files that get created. I don't like the looks of that log file. I think I will reboot and try it again. Any idea what that means "Insufficient memory to manage live_tv commercials". I had to rename the .log to .log.txt in order to attach it.

The error message suggests you have more then 5000 commercials....... Strange to say at least.

Which Comskip version do you use?

Could you set
verbose=10
in the comskip.ini, run again and post the log file?

I just downloaded version .79 build 42 and ran it again. It gave me some output on the screen this time and created a larger log file. I have never gotten a log file until I received this error. I hope this is what you were asking for.

EDIT: The filesize it too large to upload onto my post, so here is a link to the file:
ftp://mike:mike@mcameron.dyndns.org/Uplo...00.log.txt

The log file looks OK,
Could you post your comskip.ini file too?
