Slimm,

I was thinking... on the pending menu, would it make sense to just pop off a sub menu with the option to delete it instead of opening a pop up window? Also, for recorded shows, maybe a sub menu with the option to open or delete would be nice too...

Also, could you sort the recordings list menu alphanumerically?

My scenario is that I'm off to bed, but have a recording scheduled in 1/2 an hours time. Hibernation/Standby can be hit and miss for me so I'd have to leave my PC on all night for it to record. It would be great to be able to get it to power off once it's done as you can for in-progress recordings. Hope that makes some kind of sense!

This functionality will be in the next release. Thanks.

Probably Smile I have added this to the features wish-list. Thank you.

I shall keep this implementation as is for the moment as it prevents you from accidentally deleting a pending recording. I shall add an item to the feature wish-list to always delete when you select a pending menu item. This behaviour will be selectable from the Tray Configuration.

Yes, good idea. I am having a little think about how to implement this. I do not favour having another fly-out menu and am currently thinking of playing the recording on left click and showing properties / options (including delete) on right-click. This item has been add to the feature wish-list.

Here is a beta version of SlimmGBPVR. This also includes the command-line utility GBPVRcli.

Feedback appreciated, as always.

Note: this version is not compatible with GBPVR v0.96.12 or earlier.

Note: this version is a development beta as I'm not very well at the moment and I don't know when I'll be up to coding again. It might be an hour, a day, a week, a month. So, this version is the latest one I'm using on my machine. Please continue to report any problems.

Direct download link

Features:
  • Help button added to Tray Configuration window. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it to open at the right page but it's better than nothing!
  • File Extension Filter option added to recordings menu section on Tray Configuration window. Help available on using this in help file. Suggested by cginzel.
  • GBPVRcli: /recorded switch added.
Bug fixes:
  • You can now use the \n for newline in the text format strings in balloons and menu in the Tray Configuration window.
  • GBPVRcli: GBPVRcli /contains switch broken due to not including processing for {RecordingTimeLeft} token. Fixed.
There may some other tweaks that I haven't documented because I can't remember them!

Hey Slimm, sorry to hear you are not well... hope it isn't too serious. For some reason I'm not seeing the file filter option on the configuration. I also don't see the help button you describe on the config... The about window shows version 1.1.2337.3876, so I should be running your latest release. Of course there is no rush to fix this, just wanted you to know...

Somehow posted the wrong version before. What a maroon!

Great plugin!

One question though... when I delete a recording, it only deletes the .mpg file, but not the corresponding comskip-generated files:
- progname.mpg (this one does get deleted)
- progname.log (but these three don't)
- progname.logo.txt
- progname.txt

Any thoughts about adding this functionality?

Thanks!
