MPEG 'remix' plugin

We are having a discussion in another thread about commercial skipping which gave me a idea for another plugin. This one would take the original stored mpeg file and apply the commercial skips cut points, saving a new mpeg file with the result.

That way once you knew the cut points were accurate you could create a new recording without the commercials so you wouldn't have to skip manually all the time.

i think it would be nice to not only have it do the work automatically. i prefer a plugin, where i could edit a recording and there i would want to have a button for automatic cutting...
