Btw, thank you for compiling this UJB!

I'm getting the following error though:
Compiler Error Message: CS0433: The type 'webStreamer.WebForm1' exists in both 'c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\gbpvr\4d107d39\801bf7b5\App_Web_vzw3wvek.dll' and 'c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\gbpvr\4d107d39\801bf7b5\assembly\dl3\ae0638c5\00d2094d_de30c601\webStreamer.DLL'

Source Error:

Line 29: try
Line 30: {
Line 31: WebForm1.proc.Kill();
Line 32: System.Diagnostics.Process[] procs = System.Diagnostics.Process.GetProcessesByName("vlc.exe");
Line 33: foreach (System.Diagnostics.Process proc in procs)

Source File: c:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\web\player.aspx.cs Line: 31

I shut down the service and deleted the directory gbpvr in the temp .net files and still comes up with this error. Haven't seen this one before.

Thanks,

Fixed it, had to delete the dll in the bin directory. It's working now. Thanks for all your help!

UJB, thank you for releasing the 2.0 compatible version.

Unfortunately, I'm having a world of problems. I tried installing as mentioned above after having the old 1.1 version installed (was using GBPvr 97.07). I deleted the file from the bin directory and couldn't get the streaming to work. After trying a few times, I started getting web errors (ie problem loading page errors etc).

I then renamed my web directory and installed EWA 39. All worked well. I then applied the above release of the webstreamer. I tried streaming via VLC within the web browser. The popup with controls showed up (the popup is much larger than the previous version with the controls in the bottom left of the popup). I clicked play and nothing happened. I then changed to launch external viewer. This streamed the video, but I did not get any audio (Using MP4V, MP4A, and ASF). I could not get this to work at all using WMP. Externally, it would connect to the stream but said it didn't have the right codec. Any ideas on what I need to have installed? I continued playing with the options on the streaming page for a while, then suddenly the pulldown for the speed select had no options. Just blank. I tried using both Firefox 1.0.2 and IE6(?).

This morning, I decided to start fresh. I updated GBPVR to 97.09, reinstalled EWA 39 afterwards, added the streamer, and now I'm back at the same point I was before I updated WRT the streamer. I messed with it a again and the webserver seemed to die. A reboot 'fixed' the situation, but the underlying problem still presists.

Any ideas on what logs I should check or any ideas on what might be causing this strange behavior?

Web logs should be in one of the subdirectories under the following on your machine....you have to dig down through the directories and find the one that contains gbpvrpublic....there should be a text file in there with log info.
Intel Core i7 @ 4.00GHz Skylake 14nm

Windows 10 Pro x64
PVR Software: NPVR 5.1.1

I think I found them. They were buried in the depths of the windows directory. Any chance you can decipher them?

There are errors on the loading of various plugins you have....Guid2J, FastFind, recordplugin, weather.....

I am thinking it may be something related to all these plugin errors....are all of those plugins upgraded to run with .Net 2.0 and GBPVR 97.7 or 97.9?

If not, you should stop using them for now.

To the best of my knowledge they are. Any idea if "Guid2J, FastFind, recordplugin" are from the XRecord suite? If so, then those are up-to-date. I just checked the wiki for an updated weather and the latest version is from March, so I don't know if that means it is or is not fully compatible with .Net 2.0, but I can tell you that the weather plugin appears to function correctly. Hrmmf.

Anything else you can think of? Sorry to bother you, the streaming function is really cool and I'd really like to get it functioning again.... Thanks

I've tried to change the mux setting in webstreamer.xml from asf to mp4 to TS and I can't get any sound.

Does anyone have an idea of what else to check? I updated to .97.9 (sqlite), EWA build 40, and the webstreamer .Net 2.0 release.

Ignore my last post, I tried this morning and the sound works.

Instead a new problem appears, video only plays for a few seconds then stops. I am not sure what other settings to try, I only try to stream at 150K, I've tried changing the video codec but it didn't help any.

Streaming worked fantastically before I upgraded the whole package, GBPVR .97.9 (SQLite DB), EWA build 40 and the webstreamer for .Net 2.0.

Can I go back and use Webstreamer 0.80 even though I upgraded EWA and GBPVR?

Ignore all my posts aparently Smile I got the webstreamer to work!

GBPVR, the EWA and the WebStreamer works perfectly and life is good.

This is the best program I have ever used and I'd like to thank everyone involved. And it is about time for me to donate, tonight I'll check if my paypal account is still active and make a donation.

I'm not an expert programmer, but I can program. When I get the time I'd love to make a plugin.

Thanks again.
