You have to have an extra MVP-server running for MVP-viewer or shut down your hardware-mvp. Every MVP needs one server-instance running.

I have mutiple instances of the server ap running and even powered down the MVP just in case, but I still get the "Timeout gui" error message. Is there anything else I can try. I really want to be able to watch live tv over the network.

Ok, loaded .net and now I get the menu. Unfortunately, live tv eventually hangs. The video goes back to the main screen and after a while the audio loops. Finally get "Run-time error '91": Object variable or With block variable not set". Am I missing something else?

I do experience the same thing here. Is anyone got any idea how to fix it?

I guess you shouldn't forget the whole thing is very much beta still.

I'm getting the same errors as others here so I thought I'd take a look at the code.
What version of VB do I need to get started? I thought I'd try the freebie Express version but that throws too much out with errors and I don't know VB well enough to fix them all.

If you set the MVPUseAlternatePixelFormat to false in config.xml, then it'll sent type seven. Prior to v0.97.9 it always sent type 7 (unless you were using gbmvp.bin on the MVP)

Just looking at the source file..... not a programmer but... whats this created in ? Could it be ported over to the Xbox as an app ( or even a front end ? )... would make use of all those spare boxes out there now people have rushed out for the 360.
My self I use XBMC but it would be nice to have an intergrated system. Terran

Unfortunately it's a VB app, so no chance of directly porting it, but there is no reason the same sort of app couldnt be written as a plugin XBMC or as a stand alone XBOX app. I had considered doing the same thing myself in the past, but I've since sold my XBOX, so it isnt a task I'll be taking on.
