I am currently using a powercolor theater 550 card. GBPVR works fine with it.
I noticed that the documentation of the theater 550 has 'closed captioning support' listed. But It seems GB-PVR does not support CC for 550. I am wondering whether the missing CC functionality for 550 is because of the lack of documentation of the card, or because it is mission impossible for the card.
PS. For many channels, the programs have a flash line on top of the video. It is same when recoding using other software (cyberlink) too. But for live TV, It seems that cyberlink uses some tricks to make it invisible (by not showing the top line?). Remove the line when recording may be impossible, but is it possible to include such a small trick in GBPVR to hide the line when playing the video/liveTV? Sometimes the line is annoying.
Another small question, when using GBPVR for recording with best quality, It is about 2.7G per hour program. But when using Cyberlink PowerCinema, it is ~3.7G per hour program for best quality, is there any difference?
Thanks
