traffic doesnt really go with a pvr, im my opinion, like if you really want to check it a computer is just as easy (faster perhaps, since the page doesnt have to be processed, oh and is that an image or flash?). Â plugins like a working email (send and recieve), video chat or just general chat (boy those would be hard to do). something to enhance the pvr, not just something that would be cool but you hardly ever use it (come to think of it chat wouldnt be that handy, nice thou ). Â oh if you really want to make a plugin and need an idea how bout making a plugin to edit out ads in recordings, like mythtv has now that would be useful. the picture plugin could do with a clean up too, like fix the zoom etc, maybe the ability to print an image etc.
oh and defrag you can just setup in windows scheduled tasks to run once a week, pressing a button on the menu is silly, since you want to run the defrag at times when its not being used say 4am etc.
I think a cool plugin would viewing shorts on atom films. Atom films has some videos that are mpeg based that can be downloaded. I wonder if there is a command line that can convert flash to mpeg. It would be nice if you can play short films on your pvr.
As for the plugin to receive email. I have a PIM plugin available in the WIKI pages that does that. It would not be hard to modify it to send email either. By default it integrates with outlook (not 2003). Can be extended with your PIM manager of choice.
The video chat would be cool. That would require substational work. But would be a nice fit. I wonder what support C# has for netmeeting?

You can already skip the ads.

No source code for the picture plugin.
I do agree that defrag is not really useful.

just my two cents
I just think not having to touch a mouse/keyboard to check traffic info in the morning would be awesome. Personally, this gives a point to the WAF.
