I'm getting close to having the next release working, and intend to get it out next weekend...so, any volunteers to give it the once over?

It's not quite ready yet, but maybe tomorrow. I've included integration with Bleb for downloading listings, so a UK based user or two would be good.

My PVR should arrive in the next couple of days, and I already have a MediaMPV, so would be interested in installing the new copy as a fresh install.

I have just started using GB-PVR on an Epia M6000 with PVR-350. I would be interested in doing some testing to help develop this program further.

Sub..

I am in Sunny Blackpool, UK. Just found your URL via google search on PVR. Looks BRILLIANT. Will install tonight.

I'm dissapointed at the number of PVR projects that got so far, so well, and went commercial. Previous SW I have used include:

myHTPC (went Commercial!Wink
ShowShifter (Crap interface and POOR TV and DVD modules)
openHTPC (very thin currently)
BeyondTV (american crap that is difficult to get going over here)
..and others.

Its GREAT to see a UK item of PVR SW. Wonderful.

I'll test out over the weekend on my system:-

Elite K7S5a m/b
P4-2.8GHz, 2GB RAM, 4x130GB HDD
Pinnacle PCTVpro capture card + WDM driver (BTwincap)
ATI Radeon 9800XT AGP
C-Media sound
Windows XPpro+SP1
Toshiba 40" plasma TV
Telewest Pace STB

video connections:
STB to Pinnacle PCTV via RF.
Radeon9800XT S-VideoOut to SCART breakout to TV.

audio connections:
STB to Pinnacle PCTV via RF.
PCTV to C-Media LineIn via audio jack.
C-Media LineOut to SCART breakout to TV.

By far the best live TV viewing picture was yielded from ShowShifter3DVB, a great picture, but the modules were its failing. DVD playback and options were poor, JukeBox functionality was thin, interface was over-complex for a "simple end user" (such as my 5yr old daughter - who can play Shrek2 and Harry Potter Prisoner fine!!!! - LoL)

Can't wait to try this UK SW out - but lets not forget the Yanks who I'm sure will try it out too!!! LoL

Nice1 m8.

Be in touch.
