Pinnacle PCTVpro capture card + WDM driver (BTwincap)

I don't think that it'll work with your capture card. Hope I'm wrong...

djfoulkes is right. I am in New Zealand.

Unfortunatey Humbug is also right. GB-PVR requires a hardware MPEG2 encoder card like the Hauppauge PVR250/PVR350 etc.

sub, question if you are in new zealand how come you have screen shots of BBC1 in UK. Also is there any history/background on your software.

Where does the 'GB' bit come from - I thought it meant Great Britian.

GB are my initials. GB-PVR was only ever going to be a temporary name until I managed to come up with a cool one. oh well never mind...

On my development machine, I often need to use UK (bleb) or USA (zap2it) tv listings for my testing so some of the screenshots show NZ listings, some show UK, other USA. Sure, if I look at the TV Guide its not going to match up with whats really on local TV but I still need to test these overseas listings this way.

GB-PVR was started in November last year as an exercise to help me learn .net development. Since then I've really just been following my nose.

Well - you have done a great job of "following your nose". Your employer should be very happy.

Hi Sub,

today I got my third MVP-Box.
I'm running the gbpvr-Media-MVP-Program as system service.
Now I can really use 3 MVP's at the same time. It is not very fast, but it works.

Have you planed a support for other video-formats with an internal transcoder. I've seen, hauppauge use this possibility.

Bye,

Sebastian

Maybe in the future. My problem is really lack of time. This is a part time project, and features like these can take a long time to add, and will likely come at the expense of other features.

I've got GB-PVR now up and running. TuningAssistant.exe was definitely a great. I made a scheduled recording and that worked great. Plays via the X-card.
I still have some issues, but I will discuss them in the appropriate threads.
Kudo's sub!
(Even with one channel a logo is showing I didn't put it there! Was problably on stock in the logo's section. I will get the others manually and put them in there too [Image: smile.gif])

BTW, if someone in Amsterdam The Netherlands needs a channel listing (UPC) for GB-TVR, pm me and I will send it)

cheers, arttext
