When trying to view live TV, I'm now getting the error message: No capture source available to enable you to watch the requested channel.

I've run the config program and everything looks like it used to?

The only thing I recall doing was running the Tuning Assistant.

Any thoughts?

I hit this once when using the MVP, and I resolved the problem by stopping/starting the recording service,

For some reason after I upgraded from .21 to .214 it stopped recording anything that I had previously put into the planner. It started working again when I took them out and put them in again though.

This happens using MVP and dirctly on the computer running GBPVR. I've rebooted, stopped/started the service all w/o success.

Check the GBPVR*log files after this happens for anything that may be going pear shaped. You may want to send them onto Sub to look at,

Cheers,
Colin.

Perhaps this may be user error. I was playing around with web scheduling earlier and it looks like I hadn't deleted all the recordings. When I go into the scheduler now I see it's recording.

I'll check after the recording after it's finished. As I mentioned, I've been stopping/restarting the service. If in fact the recording worked I'll be very impressed. [Image: smile.gif]

You'll probably only get the part of the file, from when you last restarted the service.

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]The install process always crashes, when it calls up the configuration screen at the end. I think that might be because I have to use VMR 7 or overlay (EPIA 5000), but the default by gbpvr is VMR 9. After the crash I can still access the configuration but it will not let me save anything
From memory, the config program doesn't use VMR or another special stuff when running the config app. It just reads the text files and shows the values in the normal windows controls. You could email the config.exe.log file to me at support@devnz.com
Hi Sub,

found why I had all the trouble with the config dialog.

Before I installed the new version I copied the directory of the application to a temp dir. After installing gbpvr seamed to access the config.xml in the temp dir, because starting from the file explorrer would work, but not from the start menue. After deleting the old verison from the temp dir everything worked perfect. No idea why it was possible that gbpvr acced that config.xml in the temp dir. Very odd.

Anyway thanks for the help.

Best regards,

fragitz

Hey Sub just to let you now, pressing <ctrl>-S whilst watching live TV results in this same problem.

Also, if i browse through "Recording", select on to play previously when I pressed stop or reached the end of a recording it would return to the Recordings list. Now it returns to the Main Menu. Not a problem, just curious to know if this is the way it works now,

Cheers,
Colin.

I had to reduce hardware acceleration in the display properties -> troubleshooting tab.
