Size of Zapdb.db3

I've noticed the size of my Zapdb.db3 file has been slowy increasing over the past few weeks. It is now ~190MB. Is this a "normal" size?

It is reminding me of the way gbpvr.mdb used to grow.

Hmm....I'll look into this....I am sure it is something I am doing....or better yet not doing....

Strange problem.

I just went to use my MVP for the first time (since shrinking my Zapdb.db3 file) and it won't connect to the servers. To make a looong story short, the following file, dated 8/2/2005, is the problem:

ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll

When I switch back to the same file dated 3/27/2003, the MVP works fine.

The 8/2/2005 version came in the v58 patch and v59 updated version of Zaptools. I don't see it in earlier versions.

Is there any problem with Zaptools using the 3/27/2003 version?

I'm seeing the same thing and resolved it the same way (going back to 3/27/03 version of the .dll). It appears that the latest version (v5.9) of zaptools doesn't like this older .dll, though, because when zapimport runs, it crashes and I get no zap data in EWA.

Is no one else seeing this issue with the new zaptools? I have had to disable it because it won't run with the older .dll and the MVP won't run with the newer one.

Looks like just the two of us are having this problem, strange.

Unlike yourself, however, Zaptools is working for me when using the older file.

I have the same problem as you two. Zaptools works with the older file for me, as well.

The other issue I ran into was with zapinterface.dll. The one dated 3/21/2006 works with XRecord & the one dated 7/19/2006 works with zaptools. I modified my PostUpdateEPG.bat to copy in the zaptools one before the update & then copy the other one back in after.
