OSD margins?

Hey all!

Is there a way to set margins for the OSD? I am using VMR9, and have my ATI card set to "video mode". This makes a great playback picture, but the OSD is cropped due to the overscan.

I saw settings for OSD margin in the config.xml file, but they were XCard settings.

Any other way to adjust this in GBPVR?

You can tweak the following settings in config.xml

<OverScanBorderX1>0</OverScanBorderX1>
<OverScanBorderY1>0</OverScanBorderY1>
<OverScanBorderX2>0</OverScanBorderX2>
<OverScanBorderY2>0</OverScanBorderY2>

Its already in there. You just edit the existing settings.

Perfect! Thanks, was looking for OSD settings and missed this .

Ok, I used those settings and it works great for the OSD...

But it also applies these to DVD playback, so I have black bars on the left and right of the picture. I change those settings back to 0 and the bars go away.

What have you got <OverScanVideoAlso> set to?

Yup, sure enough.. I hadn't touched that, but looks to be set to true by default .

Yes, I intend it to be set to true by default. I personally like it this way, but made it optional since some people might not want this, or they might not be able to get the settings quite right.
