The can;t find the file error is not a skin problem. It is fixed in the next release of the plug-in. For now, just copy the video archive.mdb file fomr the jeff sub directry to the main gbpvr sub directory.

Well, there's nothing like a bit of self advertising is there? :p

You should have seen the original post, banners waving, dancers dancing, and a band playing honky-tonk. The forum software wouldn't let me delete it so this is what you get.

After downloading and installing I get my first load of boom, crash trying to run Config. It appears plain Jane is 'half installing' the video archiver plugin and I end up with Could not find file 'C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\video archive.mdb' amongst about 15 lines of errors.

Removing Video Archiver.dll fixes this and I can then run config, to change to Plain Jane to have a play....

Yeah I should have thought of this before making the post. I'm experimenting with Plain Jane's installation procedure. There are a few basic plug-ins that are installed with Jane. It seems Video Archive has a bug in the version I included. I see Jeff has already addressed the problem with you and I will update Jane with his next release.

But after a few seconds of playing with 'Appearance' I can't get into it anymore. I now get 'Error: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name:index'. Restarting GB-PVR fxies that. (I think this happens if you 'wrap around' on the 'buttons' item)

You could be right about the buttons. Please reproduce the problem, zip up your log files, and post them. I'll see what I can discern from them.

Gee, I do have a Jeff subdirectory, but there is no DB file in it. Only ArchiveDB-PC.log, archiver-PC.log, archiver-PC.log.old and Zip.txt

If you haven't resolved this problem yet, try one of two approaches:

[*] Download and install video archive then find the db file and copy it to your GBPVR directory.
[*] Delete Video Archive from the PlugIns directory.

If you run into problems, please let me know, you are a guinea pig.

I think I am going to give Jane a shot. Will it work with the Show Search plugin ya think?
