very nice...excellent job you did there...and the documentation too..
yea,not a big deal about the cases..it's fairly consistant from zap2it..
and glad not much of an install...is exactly what i was looking for..Big Grin
am already thinking of interesting ways to use the data..
wondering if 'in progress' will include timeshifts but assuming not...will try later..
[to use with lcd smartie]
obviously you've done alot of work on this already and can't find any bugs so far so job well done..enjoy the rank as 'user' for a while...Smile i know i do...lol

Mister slimm

are you interested to write a plugin, to programming GBPVR recordings from an external source (like Digital Tv Magazines).

I need a plugin which can translate the request of digital tv magazines recording advice to the database of GBPVR.
The plugin need a few advices= "which channel of gbpvr","when","Daily, weekly or just weekend","start time and end time" and maybe more.
The plugin have to react for command line advices. So everyone could implement his favorite Digital TV Magazine.

I hope DigitalTV Magazine are popular in other countrys too

You can't currently use GBPVRcli to set recordings or manipulate the GB-PVR database. While it is something that is on my wish list, it won't be happening anytime soon. When or if I do integrate that functionality into GBPVRcli, it will be posted here so subscribe to this forum.

Please note that GBPVRcli is not a plugin, it is a separate utility. It does not require GB-PVR to be running and has no interface for use inside GB-PVR.

With regard to the DigitalTV Magazine, do you have specific examples of what information you have as input and what you want to happen? Do they have a web presence that I can look at? Be as specific as you can. Thanks.

Thank you for interesting Mister Slimm

There is already a tool which can perform command line advices to gbpvr.
http://www.spidersweb.freeserve.co.uk/dab/dabdig.htm

but this tool is not specialized for gbpvr, it can`t recognize multiple recording sources and can`t handle recording conflikts.

The plugin i need must understand that i got two digitalTV cards, and have to remember me that there is a conflikt.

I have attachet a recorder script of mine favorite digital tv magazine.
If you are interested i would like to give you all information you need to save your time as much as i can

The download location for Slimm GB-PVR has changed. The link in this and the first post are current. The links in all other posts are outdated.

There is a minor tweak to the {Description} attribute that automatically breaks it into lines of 50 characters but I hope to make that more configurable in a later release.

i had problems running this while watching tv, too much processor power needed, gave hiccups...and couldn't for the life of me figure out why it wouldn't run on /low..
then i tried it with start /low /b GBPVRCli.exe...
and it works great without bothering live tv Big Grin
just a hint for those of you looking to use it while in gbpvr...
[works great btw]
also,wishlist stuff...
can we have it search for multiple terms with /contains?
like - /contains "Closer" & "Pilot" ?
need to narrow the search for those with lots of files...[too many hits for many words]
will be getting extensive use in my new version..[Showburner]
each movie on the dvd will get it's own menu page with tons of info from this Big Grin

Here is a beta version of SlimmGBPVR. This also includes the command-line utility GBPVRcli.

Feedback appreciated, as always.

SlimmGBPVR 1.3.2404.939 beta direct download link

Features:
  • /priority switch added.
  • /conflicts switch added.
  • /contains now is case-insensitive and matches all words in the text not just the phrase. For example, "bill ted" will now find "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure".

Would it be possible to add support for accented characters (e.g. upper half of Windows-1250 code page) in GBPVRcli output?
Currently the output seems to be in plain ASCII (or Latin1?) so these characters are mangled badly Sad

Hi, can you tell me if this version of GBPVRcli works for you? [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

After you've made a backup, you should be able to copy it over your existing GBPVRcli.exe.

Let me know how it goes, thanks.
