I've been using notepad for editing the skin XML files. Is there a better Editor out there that might format things a little more "Nice"? (Preferably something freeware)

Thanks,

Tony

Thanks but a little steep for me, if I was going to use it all the time it might be worth it.

I did find a Freeware one though called ConTEXT, looks like it'll work fine for my simple needs.

You can check it out here:

Thanks,

Tony

You posted just before me. Smile

I'll have to try that one too if the other one gives me any fits.

Thanks,

Tony

One of the better XML editors I use on a daily basis is Oxygen XML (http://www.oxygenxml.com). Handles almost any type of XML editing needs you'll ever need, and at a very reasonable price compared to stuff like XML Spy. You can also get an XML Spy Home Edition for free which has basic XML editing.

I use notepad++ with an xml plugin (plugin is only for validation checking, it supports xml natively)

Notepad ++
Plugin
XML Tools

I like how I can click on the "-" or "+" by each section so I can collapse or expand elements. Its multi-tabbed as well.

It is open source freeware.
