Sub,
There were a few times I started & stopped a recording just as I was learning how to use GB-PVR. I manual deleted the Mpg file it created and didn't use GB-PVR delete feature. Now, it's listed under my recordings as failed but I can't delete it out of my list. What can I do to get this listing out of my recording list. For some reason it won't delete using the program. My guess is it's because there is nothing there to delete, so how do I remove it from the recorded list.

Thanks

Sub,
I have my Zone Alarm set to let all the GB-PVR programs connect to the Internet. Do all these ( Config.exe , GBPVRRecordingService.exe , GBPVRTray.exe , & GBPVR.exe ) have to have access to the net? Also What is each connecting to? I guess I'm a little picky about what I let through.

They're talking to each other, not out to the net. It only goes out to the net for EPG updates or net radio.

Thanks Sub...... I know I have been asking a ton of questions here but I do have yet another one. What is padding? Is it how much time you allow before the recording starts and stops. Kinda like to be safe so you get the whole movie. I nknow that I just tried to record something but it cut the program short, If I would have added padding would that have allowed me extra time? Also, is there a manual or a quick reference faq. I don't want to keep asking you questions and taking up your time... thanks

Yes.

It really depends on what you want to know. Most of the info is up on the wiki http://www.gbpvr.com/pmwiki

Thanks.....
In your opinion, how much padding is needed. I just figured out the hard way that the Listings wasn't timed correctly. Is the Listing accurate? I may give it 20 min extra on the end but it's going to be a huge file. I guess I can always edit the ending just like I do with commercials
