FFMPEG using ffdshow...

How does one incorporate ffdshow while using ffmpeg?

Is it as simple as choosing ffdshow for -acodec and -vcodec ?

It didn't work on my first attempt, and my head is starting to hurt from banging it on the wall from other troubleshooting...

They are two different things. I dont think you can use them together.

ffdshow is a directshow video decoder/post processor. ffmpeg cannot use directshow.
