I understand what you guys are up against, and you’re all doing a great job of deleting spam. Even when some of the replies are the best reading on the forum! Big Grin
But warning new users before they’ve done anything wrong is risky business because no one wants to be greeted like that.

That’s a shame.
I was hoping all the replies could be archived on the wiki someday.
Maybe you could allow one non-offensive spam post a week, just for the comedy factor? Smile

I think there are enough Fun-Sites outside GBPVR.com, so that we not really need something like this.

Sure, nobody wants to be greeted like that, but this new person just "happened" to be following the same exact pattern that several other new members that spammed that same thread had just done.

Most new users don't start a new thread in the general discussion thread, they usually are looking for support or post in another thread. I don't recall ever seeing a 1st post by a non-spammer there. It was a valid warning to anyone. If they were not going to spam, then it doesn't effect them.

That may sound harsh, but I doubt it was a casual new member. If it was, then I apologise for my tone. Here is what I saw last night when I made my post. What do you think? Remeber, I saw a new thread being created by this new member for over five minutes.

I am betting 100:1 that new member "Order tramadol online" will spam. Smile

I will edit my first post. I checked his last activity and it was a few minutes BEFORE I posted so I obviously didn't scare him off.

Agree, probably best to just delete spam posts as and when required. And if you piss one spammer off he might bring his buddies next time...
