Hello there

I have been using GBPVR for almost 6 months now and love it.

I'm using a Compro T300 tuner card and am very happy with it.

Last week I decided to take the experience to the next level and acquired a second Compro T300 card.Smile

The problem is when I insert the second tuner card the first stops working, neither of them work in gbpvr, they will not detect any channels.
They both work together with the Compro software.

When I remove either one the other works perfectly and will detect all available channels.

They are on different IRQ's and the old working drivers (Version 1.3.1.24) are installed on both tuner cards

Please Help

Thanx

Did you set one as device #1, the other as device #2?

Yes I have tried every combination.

I set them both to device #1 the both to device #2 then the first to #1 and the sceond to # 2 the vise versa.

What should be the correct configuration for two identicial cards?

Thanx

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Do the Compro drivers support multiple cards? Older Hauppauge drivers didn't support multiple cards.

Hi Guys

Here are all the .log files from my system.

As for the compro drivers supporting multiple tuner cards, I can get the compro software to work with both tuner cards in the system with no problems.
Also I have found reports on other sites with systems using multiple compros and running MCE.

Some more info on the problem.
If there is only one tuner card in the system everything works fine.
As soon as the second card is inserted and the system powered on the working tuner stops working even before setting up the second compro.

Hope this helps. I was so looking forward to multiple tuners.

Thanx for the quick and friendly support. It just another thing that impresses me about this software. Its a great package.

I would download and run GraphEdit (google for it), click the 'insert filters', then expand the 'BDA Source Filters' category. What is listed in there exactly? A screenshot would be good.

Here are a couple of screen captures of the 'BDA Source Filters' in GraphEdit.

Hope they shed some light on things.

Thanx again

hmm, thats really strange. It is shown there in your screenshot, with the correct name, but the log entry I posted really makes it look like the second one of those cards was not listed at the time GB-PVR went to use it. I wonder if the Compro drivers do something strange like dynamically hide the first one when its in use?

Sorry, I dont really have any suggestions for you.

They work by them selves with the Compro 1.3.1.24 drivers.

But the problem is when there are two card in the system then neither of them work even when using the Compro 1.3.1.24 drivers

Thanx
